At the Idaho State University Geospatial Software Lab in Idaho Falls, Idaho, most of our programmers and support staff are paid out of contracts from various government agencies and private companies.

These funds typically cannot be used to pay for such things as CD's and Tee-Shirts connected to the MapWindow Project, conference travel to get the word out about this project, or iPod Nano's for the Plug-in Writing Contest.
