Conference Presenters
Call for Presentations
Day
three (2 April 2010) of MapWindow 2010 is all about sharing
your work with the rest of the MapWindow community.
With time slots for Rapid Fire talks (5 minutes to say whatever you want as fast as you can) and more traditional 20 minute PowerPoint based presentations, the conference schedule has room for over 36 presentations.
For this conference to be successful it is critical that we hear from YOU in one of those presenter slots. Will you please consider preparing a 250 word abstract and submitting it with your registration?
Abstracts will be accepted until all speaking slots are filled. If you have a preference for a 20 minute talk or a 5 minute Rapid Fire, please indicate this when you submit your abstract. To make room for everyone we may need to ask you to move from one type of talk to another, so please be understanding in this respect.
Abstracts
Abstracts will be accepted until all speaking positions are filled. A review committee will organize speakers into themes for the four presentation sessions, P1, P2, P3 and P4. Instructions for submitting your 250 word abstract are provided on the registration page.
Paper Publication
Individuals interested in publishing full papers presented at the conference in a peer reviewed journal will be encouraged to do so through OSGeo Journal or the Journal of Spatial Information Science.
